Description
Description
The Ponte vineyard is a century-old Quinta do Crasto vineyard located in a unique terroir, where its incomparable diversity of grape varieties, exposure to the southeast and low production levels allow the creation of a unique wine of exceptional character.
The grapes, rigorously selected, are trodden in traditional granite presses and transferred to stainless steel vats where alcoholic fermentation ends, followed by a 20-month aging period in 225-liter French oak barrels.
Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte will benefit from bottle aging and should be decanted before serving.
