Description
Description
Vinha da Ponte is a very steep plot of varietal vines planted at Quinta do Crasto 100 years ago. Very low yields and high-intensity fruit gave us the opportunity to create this unique wine of exceptional concentration and complexity. The fruit was crushed by foot in a single granite tank called a « lagar » and fermented in a small open vat before aging for 20 months in the best French oak barrels. Bottled without filtration, it must be carefully decanted before serving. It will pay off with a very long cellar.
