Description
Pêra-Manca wine dates back to the 15th century. Fundação Eugénio de Almeida – Adega Cartuxa vinified the first harvest of Pêra-Manca in 1990. Since then it has become a national and international reference. The Pêra-Manca Red, from the 2015 harvest. Made from grapes of the Aragonez and Trincadeira varieties, from the Vinhas Velhas da Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, it aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and was bottled in September 2017. This wine was not stabilized and, with the time, present a slight deposit, so it must be decanted.
