Description
Description
The name « Viña Gravonia » comes from the vineyards located approximately 200 meters from the winery, originally acquired by the great-grandfather of the current owners of this renowned Riojan winery, López de Heredia. Previously known as Viña Zaconia, these wines were produced as sweet wines, using botrytis cinerea , and were also named Sauternia, in a clear allusion to the famous French Sauternes. However, nowadays, these wines are no longer sweet. Viña Gravonia is a unique white wine that stands out for its aromatic complexity and freshness and evolution in the mouth, culminating in an incredibly long finish.
