Description
Trufa Negra is a wine produced with grapes from two vineyard plots located in the Cima Corgo sub-region. The first is located in Valença do Douro, it is an old vineyard over 70 years old, with a mix of 30 indigenous grape varieties. The second is located in Foz do Rio Távora and is around 30 years old, where the predominant grape varieties are Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz.
It has a concentrated aroma, with notes of black fruit and spices. In the mouth it is full-bodied, complex and has intense, well-integrated tannins, which give the wine a long, fresh finish.
