Description
Description
The most provocative of all on the nose. Opulent with lots of ripe fruit, joy and exuberance. It has touches of coffee at the end. On the palate there is a lot of freshness and a delicious touch of eucalyptus, followed by ripe blackberry and cassis. It has 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot. It was served straight from the bottle to the glass. With decantation it would be much better. A historic wine, only second to the spectacular 1996 in recent years.
